Senior Business Analyst - AI & ML Consulting

The role

For a project in data, analytics, and AI initiatives, we are looking for a Senior Business / Data Analyst – AI & ML Consulting to support advisory and discovery phases of ML-driven solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and machine learning. Your focus will be on helping clients understand their data, design meaningful ML use cases, and define business-relevant KPIs and analytical directions.

You will work closely with a client, data scientists, and ML engineers, acting as a bridge between technical capabilities and real business value.

What you’ll do

• Lead analytical and advisory discussions with clients

• Assess data quality, structure, and ML readiness

• Identify data gaps and recommend improvements or additional sources

• Define and refine ML use cases (classification, prediction, scoring, exploration)

• Define business KPIs and decision-oriented metrics

• Translate ML and analytics topics into business language

• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers on:

  • use case design

  • result interpretation

  • business validation

• Participate in client workshops and prepare clear summaries and recommendations

What we are looking for

• Strong understanding of business processes and transactional data

• Hands-on experience with KPIs and performance metrics

• Solid knowledge of ML fundamentals and model interpretation

• Practical experience with SQL and BI tools

• Ability to work independently and lead client conversations

• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work in a bilingual environment (Polish B2+, English B2+)

• Python (pandas, sklearn – analytical level)

• Experience with financial, sales, or operational data
