Frontend Engineer (Freelance)

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (Freelance) with a strong track record in building modern, performant, and scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Next. You’ll play a key role in shaping our frontend architecture, owning complex features end-to-end, and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers. 

This is a part-time freelance role (up to 20 hours per week), offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects.

What you’ll do

·       Lead the implementation of complex UI features using React, TypeScript, and Next

·       Work closely with product and design to turn ideas into polished, user-friendly interfaces

·       Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve our frontend tech stack

·       Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices

·       Mentor other frontend engineers and elevate the technical bar

·       Optimize for performance, accessibility, and scalability

·       Drive improvements in tooling, developer experience, and UI consistency

Requirements

·       4+ years of experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript

·       Strong knowledge of Next and modern frontend best practices

·       Experience with Node on backend

·       Proven experience designing and implementing production-grade frontend architectures

·       Ability to collaborate across disciplines and take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery

·       Familiarity with REST or GraphQL APIs and fullstack workflows

·       Comfortable working in a bilingual setting (Polish B2+ and English B2+)

·       Availability for freelance engagement, up to 20 hours per week
