What you will be doing:
- Contributing to cutting-edge FinTech initiatives for one of the world’s largest banking institutions.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining features for a high-performance payment processing application.
- Working with modern payment technologies and standards, including PSD2, SWIFT, SEPA, and SEPA Instant.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, while performing testing and debugging activities.
- Translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Leading technical discussions and supporting the growth of less experienced developers.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of commercial experience working with Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
- Extensive experience with SQL and ORM technologies, ideally in environments using Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of messaging systems such as IBM MQ and Kafka.
- Practical experience with version control and build tools, including Git and Maven.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Prior experience with payment systems (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT MT) is a strong asset.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
