Sr Systems Engineer with SAP Ariba

Your area of responsibility:

• Grasp business objectives and lead strategic discussions to ensure these objectives are met, leveraging the full capabilities of Ariba and S/4HANA
• Identify and propose leading solutions to fulfill needs in sourcing, contracting, onboarding, purchasing, and invoicing
• Ensure prompt identification, escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, and then design, develop, test and sustain effective solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to embed AI, Analytics, and Automation into business workflows, ensuring they can scale with the organization
• Engage proactively with procurement stakeholders to support daily operations, facilitate training, and handle escalations when needed
• Promote the adopt industry-leading practices and standards across development, support, testing, and documentation
• Work with digital and procurement Leaders to pinpoint opportunities for continuous improvement on the roadmap
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of digital solutions

Your profile:

• Proven experience in procurement delivery or consulting, particularly with SAP Procurement and Ariba solutions f.e Guided Buying or Spend Management reporting
• Skilled in translating business requirements into solution specifications and ensuring effective communication between procurement and digital teams
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the procurement function, encompassing the entire sourcing-to-payment process, procurement process analysis and optimization, functional solution architecture or relevant technology domains
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
• Competent in managing and executing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines, along with over 5 years of experience in practice development, architecture, technology solutions consulting, and similar areas.
