Your responsibilities

• Develop and customize Android BSP and system software
• Compile, customize, and port Android to new platforms
• Create and modify HAL layers for hardware integration
• Modify and configure the Linux Kernel for specific hardware
• Develop kernel modules and device drivers
• Integrate low-level functions with the application layer (Java/Kotlin)
• Debug native code using tools like gdb, lldb

Your profile What we expect of you

• Knowledge of Android OS architecture and AOSP structure
• Experience in building and modifying AOSP
• Proficiency in system programming (C, C++, Java/Kotlin)
• Familiarity with debugging tools: logcat, dmesg, strace
• Understanding of bootloader configuration (U-Boot, Fastboot)
• Familiarity with build systems: Soong, Make, CMake
• Knowledge of SELinux security policies

Nice to have:

• Experience with SoC platforms (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Rockchip, NXP, TI)
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, USB, PCIe)
• Experience in CI/CD (Repo, Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Knowledge of Android security (Verified Boot, TEE)
