Join Our Team as a Staff Platform Engineer

At Fabres, we believe in creating solutions that feel seamless and effortless… almost like magic. We’re looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to help shape an advanced e-commerce project for one of our long-term, strategic clients.

You’ll  have the chance to drive R&D initiatives and shape the future of our platform. Last month alone, our CDN handled 1.1 billion requests, our servers processed nearly 200 million requests, and our messaging systems managed over 50 million events.

We are working with a Scandinavian client in Polish–Norwegian teams, where collaboration goes beyond borders. What unites us is a shared focus on building reliable solutions and a genuine care for quality at every stage of development.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure system scalability, security, and performance

• Design and maintain software architecture for complex systems and applications

• Define technology stack and make key technical decisions

• Prepare and maintain architectural documentation

• Collaborate closely with development teams

• Review design proposals and provide technical guidance during implementation

• Establish and promote coding standards and best practices

Requirements (must have):

• 10+ years of experience in software development

• Skilled .NET Developer

• Experience with distributed systems with high load

• Understanding of architecture and distributed systems

• Cloud experience (preferable Azure)

• Experience with CDN/Edge Providers (Akamai)

• Experience with orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Service Fabric and Docker)

• Experience with Application Performance Management (Application Insights, NewRelic, Graphana)

Nice to have:

• Experience and understanding computer networks

• Focusing on building and maintaining the platform (e.g. CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring)

• Working hand-on with tools and automation (Terraform, Kubernetes, pipelines, observability)

This is a remote role, but we like to meet in person at our Poznań office now and then, so if you're based far away, think if that could work for you before applying.
