Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and architecture of Java applications,
• Develop applications using modern frameworks (eg. Spring Boot) and microservices architecture,
• Integrate 3rd party and cloud services with existing applications, 
• Review, test and debug team members’ code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience (5+ years in IT industry),
• Experience reading and writing code in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Java is must-have, other languages are nice to have),
• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal,
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot, Linux, Maven, Git,
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies: Docker, Kubernetes,
• Understanding of TDD practices and experience with Unit Testing (Spock/Junit), 
• Nice to have: experience with Apache Camel, JMS, Hibernate, Google Cloud Platform, SOAP Web Services, RxJava/ReactiveStreams, Mainframe offloading.
