About the role:
This role will be a first point of contact with SAS users and require excellent communication and organization skills to receive, track and resolve user issues in coordination with IT support and other members of the SAS support team.
Job Tasks:
- Frequent monitoring for SAS support requests
- Prompt communication with users on request status and updates, as well as accurate tracking of the status of open requests
- Creating documentation and new tasks
- Providing technical support to SAS users, including new account requests
- Share updates and changes, directory creation
- Support in the implementation of user training
- Performing system testing and validation
Requirements:
- Strong experience into technical support (communication, issue tracking and resolution)
- Good knowledge about SAS System (including SAS Grid, Base SAS, SAS/Stat, SAS/Graph, datasets and macros - SAS programming not required but candidate should be familiar with SAS code and able to help troubleshoot SAS issues)
- Experience into Linux for making accounts, user groups, files and directories, permissions, use command line tools
- Nice to have familiarity with basic Linux scripting, including Bash and Python
- Nice to have familiarity with SDLC and software validation
Your expetise:
- 3-5 years of experience into technical support
- 3+ years of experience into SAS System
- 3+ years of experience using Linux
- Well organized with an innate sense of how to prioritize across a complex environment
- Curious, collaborative and constantly interested in learning someone and himself new things
- Fluent in English and eager to work in an English Speaking Global Team
