Test Automation Engineer (Salesforce)

Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality Automation Engineer to join our team in the insurance sector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automation testing using Java and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions, particularly in Salesforce environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test plans and both manual and automated test scripts for UI, functionality, system, and ad-hoc testing

• Focus on web and API qualification, with backend data validation as needed

• Execute regression, functional, and data tests

• Document QA practices and provide analysis of test results

• Ensure applications meet business and system requirements

• Evaluate and implement testing techniques for new and existing applications

• Create and execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios for optimal system performance

• Conduct system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing

• Analyze test results to identify and resolve defects and configuration issues

• Review documentation and technical specs of new applications

• Produce reports and documentation for all testing activities

• Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders

  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java and OOP principles

• Proficiency in Selenium and WebDriver

• Experience testing Salesforce or similar systems

• Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, Web Services)

• Familiarity with BDD using Cucumber

• Experience in GUI and API testing (SOAP/REST)

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps

• Experience with Git and lifecycle management tools (JIRA or Azure DevOps)

• Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Understanding of ISTQB principles and testing methodologies

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

• Familiarity with Jenkins, Confluence, and Azure DevOps

• Background in the insurance industry
