Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Remote SRE/DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our production environments. Your expertise in Kubernetes (preferably Red Hat OpenShift v4), Azure/AWS, Linux, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring/DevOps tools will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliability and performance of our production systems.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments (preferably Red Hat OpenShift v4).
• Maintain and improve our infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux production environments.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Configure and utilize monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Elastic, Slack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Implement and manage DevOps and GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (preferably Red Hat OpenShift v4).
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS production environments.
• Deep understanding of Linux production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as a Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Elastic, Slack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience with DevOps and GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

•  Professional certifications such as CKA, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional.
