Snowflake Architect

Objective: Looking for a Snowflake Architect with a strong database background, hands-on experience in Snowflake, and good soft skills.

Role: Not a team lead or managerial role; The position is primarily focused on Snowflake administration and architecture with some development aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Snowflake administration: creating new databases, schemas.
• Explaining available Snowflake features to business users.
• Optimizing new platforms and implementing new Snowflake features.
• Close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting and stakeholder collaboration.

Technical Stack:

• Cloud: AWS based – not required to know only AWS (Azure could also be good)
• Databases: Strong database background required.
• Snowflake: 2-3 years of experience required.
• SQL & Python: Essential for the role.
• AI & Gen AI in Snowflake: Understanding of traditional and new approaches.

Team Composition:

• Mixed team across Poland, India, and the USA (Polish time)

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: 5-7 years overall IT experience, with at least 2 years in Snowflake.
• Profile: Architect with hands-on experience, capable of configuring and implementing Snowflake solutions.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder interaction, and training abilities.
• Development Skills: Not a purely DBA role; must understand development aspects and be able to discuss architectural decisions.
