ServiceNow Developer (Performance Analytics)

Tasks

As a ServiceNow Performance Analytics Developer, you will:

• Design, configure, and implement advanced analytics and reporting solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

• Develop and maintain Performance Analytics (PA) indicators, breakdowns, widgets, and dashboards across modules such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and ITOM.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.

• Translate business needs into scalable and actionable PA solutions.

• Create and manage data collectors and automated data collection jobs.

• Design dashboards that visualize operational and strategic KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across all analytics deliverables.

• Optimize the performance of analytics solutions for accuracy and responsiveness.

• Integrate PA with ServiceNow Reporting, CMDB, and external data sources as needed.

• Provide technical documentation, user training, and post-implementation support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3–5 years of experience in ServiceNow implementation and development.

• Proven expertise in configuring ServiceNow Performance Analytics and developing dashboards.

• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow PA and Reporting modules.

• Hands-on experience with indicators, breakdowns, widgets, and scorecards.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Flow Designer for scripting and automation.

• Strong understanding of data structures, CMDB relationships, and KPI frameworks.

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA); Performance Analytics certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with data governance and reporting best practices.

• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing dashboard performance.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in English (C1/C2); knowledge of other European languages is a plus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience with external BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
