Senior Java Developer (with some Python and AI experience)

The Opportunity: As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll contribute to multiple streams of implementation within insurance-related projects. You’ll work closely with agile team members, analyze business requirements, and transform them into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications

• Collaborate with agile teams to meet project goals

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Mentor junior developers

Tech Stack & Skills:

• 5+ years of Java experience

• Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Maven

• REST & SOAP web services

• SQL & Git

• Python experience

• Strong English (German or other EU languages a plus)

• AI experience is a must

Nice to Have:

• Kafka, RabbitMQ, Camunda

• Microservices architecture

• AWS or Azure experience

• Relevant certifications (Java, Spring, SQL, Cloud)
