Java Developer – Legacy Application Maintenance

Location: 100% Remote Start Date: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible Contract Type: B2B (170–180 PLN/h + VAT)

About the Client

Industry: Finance Project: Technical maintenance of a legacy application (sunset mode)

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor logs and resolve technical issues.

• Prepare releases and handle ServiceDesk tickets (3rd line support).

• Perform data fixes (SQL scripts) and collaborate with DB team.

• Resolve incidents escalated from 1st and 2nd line support.

• Work with LDAP data integration.

• Support preparation for data migration to a new application (Java 21, Spring Boot 3) planned for early 2026.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework (classic, not Boot).

• Good knowledge of Hibernate and SQL.

• Basic understanding of LDAP.

• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain legacy systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with migration projects.

• Familiarity with modern Java (Java 21) and Spring Boot.
