Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Application Architect to play a key role in enhancing technical maturity, architectural standards, and the overall quality of our custom-built applications. You will combine hands-on development expertise with an architectural mindset, guiding the team toward best practices and modern engineering approaches.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement application components using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Drive architectural improvements and contribute to long-term solution designs.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Mentor team members on software engineering best practices and clean architecture principles.
• (Optional) Support requirements engineering activities to align business needs with technical solutions.

Technology Stack

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot
• Frontend: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Cloud: Azure
• DevOps: GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Infrastructure as Code
• Architecture: REST API, Microservices
• Databases: SQL / relational

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of architectural design patterns, distributed systems, and API design.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor others, and drive architectural improvements.
• Excellent communication skills in English
