Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor production systems, ensuring high availability and performance

• Automate operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues

• Maintain and improve system security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures

• Monitor system metrics and logs to proactively identify and address potential issues

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

• Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or DevOps roles

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)

• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

• Exposure to ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, RHCE, Azure Administrator)
