Senior Database Administrator

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team. Tasks: 

• Manage and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and performance 
• Design and implement database solutions to support business applications 
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency 
• Perform regular database backups and recovery operations 
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards 
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner 
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas 
• Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations and procedures 
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role 
• Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL 
• Strong knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and optimization 
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures 
• Familiarity with database security practices and compliance standards 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
