Security Consultant
Location: hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the Gdynia office
Description:
This is a security compliance governance role where formal governance and documentation is its biggest aspect (i.e. not a strictly technical role in the practical aspect, but it requires to have at least basic and theoretical technical knowledge).
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and approve change requests (e.g., firewall openings, proxy/email whitelisting, AD group membership) from a security compliance perspective.
Interpret security standards and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders and raise security awareness.
Analyze procedural and architectural documentation; verify risk coverage.
Collaborate with internal teams (CSO, Security Architecture, Application Owners) to support decision-making.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of IP networks, protocols, firewalls, and proxies.
Strong English skills (written and spoken).
Experience with operational tasks, Change Management processes, and ticketing tools.
Ability to analyze documentation, gather information, and connect the dots.
Understanding of Risk Management Framework and security policies, standards, and best practices.
