SAP S/4HANA Procurement Applications Expert

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Applications Expert with strong knowledge of iValua and SAP S/4HANA to support the transformation of procurement systems and processes. This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration, process alignment, and operational readiness across the global procurement landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Process Design

• Provide expert input on solution impact to operations and business processes (gap analysis between As-Is and To-Be)

• Document and formalize region-specific requirements and change requests

• Gain deep understanding of the S/4HANA–iValua solution design, including functional and system mapping

• Contribute to the design of compliance processes, including process maps and documentation standards

Project & Change Management

• Identify and communicate risks to procurement operations and ensure timely resolution

• Ensure clarity regarding SAP validation rules for supplier master data (e.g., bank, tax)

• Drive changes across the application landscape, including role model and vendor management adaptations

• Prepare and review global test cases and scenarios, incorporating local specifics

• Participate in UAT preparation and execution; ensure issues are tracked and resolved

Implementation & Support

• Monitor interfaces during data migration and manage exceptions

• Resolve supplier-related issues during dry runs and final migration stages

• Manage user provisioning and profile documentation

Training & Communication

• Analyze change impacts and contribute to change management deliverables

• Collaborate with communication teams on end-user messaging

• Support training content development

Qualifications

• Proven experience with iValua and SAP S/4HANA in a procurement context (L1 or L2 certification preferred)

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and compliance frameworks

• Experience in system implementation, UAT, and change management

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with confidence

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

• Knowledge of SAP Fieldglass is considered an asset
