SAP QM Consultant – Retail & Defense

Location: remote work (EU Timezone) – Occasional travel to Cologne, Germany

Languages Required: English (fluent), German (basic or higher)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead migration planning and cutover activities:

• Utilize Migration Cockpit and LSMW for quality info records

• Support development of mass change tools for material master data

• Execute QM mass transactions (e.g., QA08)

• Assist with migration templates and data preparation

• Design and optimize SAP QM processes for incoming goods

• Collect and analyze business requirements for feasibility

• Customize SAP QM modules and manage implementation via SolMan

• Conduct testing and ensure quality assurance

• Deliver training to key users and potentially end-users (including iPad usage)

• Act as a hands-on expert across all phases of the project lifecycle

• Technical Environment

• Systems: SAP QM integrated with SAP Retail, Fashion, and SAP Defense & Security Solutions

• Plant Types: IM-managed and embedded EWM-managed

• User Experience: Launchpad-centric, Lighthouse apps preferred

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in SAP QM within complex, customized E2E environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

• Experience with SAP data migration tools and process design
