SAP PP/PI Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP-PI / Manufacturing Analyst to join a long-term global transformation program focused on manufacturing processes.

This role is strongly oriented toward Process Industries, with key focus areas including PI Sheet, XSteps, Variant Configuration, and SAP–MES integration.

You will play a strategic role in designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes within the SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance SAP PP-PI solutions, including:

  • PI Sheet

  • XSteps

  • Recipes and BOM management

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes:

  • Shop Floor Control

  • Demand Management and Planning Strategies

  • Flexible Planning

• Support and develop Variant Configuration

• Drive and support SAP–MES integrations

• Participate in business workshops and gather requirements

• Collaborate with global IT and business stakeholders

• Support system implementations and rollout activities

• Prepare and maintain process and solution documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP PP-PI

• Strong expertise in:

  • PI Sheet and XSteps

  • Variant Configuration

  • BOM / Recipe management

• Hands-on experience in:

  • Production planning (Demand Management, Planning Strategies)

  • Shop Floor Control

• Knowledge of SAP–MES integration

• Proven project experience (implementations and/or rollouts)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to conduct workshops with business users

• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience in process industries (e.g., FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals)

• S/4HANA experience

• International project exposure
