QA Engineer (Cypress)

Tasks:

• Create and maintain test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Puppeteer, Jest, and Chromatic.
• Integrate tests with platforms like SauceLabs and Browserstack to ensure cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Develop, adapt, and execute effective test strategies.
• Monitor and report test results, identifying areas for improvement
• Work with product, defect, and test case management systems.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure high-quality products.

Requirements:

• Good aptitude for learning new technologies and ways of working.
• Ability to create, adapt and execute effective test strategies.
• Good written and spoken communications skills;
• Comfortable engaging at all levels in the organisation.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Working knowledge of product/defect/test case management systems.
• Good understanding of test automation and its value and application within agile delivery.
• Ability to anticipate problems and tackle them with a pragmatic approach.
• An appreciation of good user experience and able to be the users’ advocate.
• Good understanding of usability and accessibility of applications and products.
