Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, and cloud environments)
• Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
• Monitoring network performance, identifying issues, and ensuring optimal network uptime
• Troubleshooting network problems and providing timely resolutions
• Collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure network security and compliance
• Managing network configurations and conducting regular network audits
• Supporting the implementation of network upgrades and migrations
• Maintaining network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Proficiency in network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios)
• Knowledge of network security practices and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus
