MS Dynamics 365 Finance Specialist

Location: Remote work with international business travel approximately 5 times per year (1-2 weeks per trip). Destinations include Brazil, China, and Europe (e.g. France)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced MS Dynamics 365 Finance Specialist to support financial and supply chain operations in an international environment. This role combines finance, supply chain management, ERP expertise, cost optimization, reporting, and business partnering to drive operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities;

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support supply chain decisions, budgeting, and forecasting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on supply chain costs, inventory turnover, and financial performance metrics

• Analyze variances between planned and actual costs, identifying drivers of discrepancies and recommending corrective actions

• Generate insights from ERP and supply chain data to drive efficiency and support decision-making

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in developing budgets for supply chain and procurement operations

• Track, report, and optimize costs across the supply chain to improve efficiency and profitability

• Support cost-saving initiatives by analyzing historical spend and market trends

Vendor & Supply Chain Management

• Analyze vendor costs and terms, ensuring optimal pricing and quality of materials and services

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to improve lead times, quality control, and overall supply chain resilience

• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including financial exposure and potential supply disruptions

• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards across all supply chain activities

ERP & Systems Improvement

• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems to manage financial and supply chain data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

• Collaborate with IT teams to implement system improvements that enhance reporting and analysis capabilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial and supply chain processes

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance and Microsoft Dynamics environments

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Ability to work with financial and supply chain data to support business decisions

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics

Nice to Have:

• Electronic E-invoicing skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• MBA or relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or APICS/CSCP
