Internal Auditor – SOC/ISAE

For an international client, we are looking for candidates for the position of Internal Auditor (SOC/ISAE) in Warsaw, Katowice or Wrocław.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct SOC 1/ ISAE readiness assessments to evaluate control design and effectiveness
• Lead process walkthroughs and develop testing strategies
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements
• Test operating effectiveness of controls and processes
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather documentation and evidence
• Prepare reports with findings and action plans
• Stay updated on SOC 1 and ISAE standards and best practices
• Mentor junior team members on audit methodologies
• Support preparation of SOC 1 Type 2 reports and related documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies
• Experience in design assessments and control testing
• 4–5 years in public accounting or similar role focused on SOC 1 / ISAE, or 5+ years in internal audit with SOX 404 and/or ITGC testing
• Preferred: experience with financial services processes (fund accounting, stock administration, asset management)
• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) are a plus
