GCP Data Engineer (Regular)

Start Date: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible
Work Model: hybrid, 2 days per week in the Warsaw office
Contract Type: B2B (110-115 PLN/h + VAT)

We are looking for a Junior/Regular GCP Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of cloud-based data solutions within a modern data platform environment. This role is ideal for professionals with initial hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform who would like to further develop their technical skills in data processing, integration, and cloud technologies. 

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services.

• Build and maintain SQL-based data transformations and data processing workflows.

• Assist with the development of Python scripts and applications for data integration and automation.

• Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize data processing solutions.

• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the data platform.

Expectations:

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, or Cloud Composer (Airflow).

• Good knowledge of Python and SQL, with the ability to develop and modify data processing solutions.

• Understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques.

• Experience using GitHub or similar version control systems in a collaborative development environment.

• Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively within project teams.

• Nice to have: basic knowledge of dbt, familiarity with Terraform, experience with Google Artifact Registry, exposure to cloud-based analytics or reporting platforms.
