EDI & Ariba Network Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EDI and Ariba cXML Network Specialist to support the deployment of SAP S4 Hana and Supply Chain Collaboration. This role focuses on managing electronic data interchange (EDI) and supplier onboarding within the Ariba Network, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

EDI / Ariba Network Management

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of EDI systems and Ariba Network
• Ensure seamless and efficient electronic transactions with suppliers
• Troubleshoot integration issues related to EDI and Ariba cXML
• Support implementation of Supply Chain Collaboration

Supplier Enablement

• Manage migration of EDI-integrated suppliers from the legacy gateway to the new platform
• Support integration leads with testing, communication, and milestone tracking
• Coordinate and perform testing for purchase order processing
• Align supplier lifecycle testing with overall project migration strategy

Onboarding Testing

• Conduct and document technical and operational onboarding tests
• Create and execute onboarding test plans and scenarios
• Identify and resolve issues during supplier onboarding processes

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ANSI X12 / EDIFACT and Ariba cXML Network
• Strong EDI knowledge and supplier enablement experience
• Proven experience in onboarding testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S4 Hana
• Previous system deployment experience
• Background in master data handling

• Supplier enablement expertise
• Proficiency in Ariba Network integration

Technical & Educational Requirements

• Proficiency in B2B system integration and ANSI X12 EDI standards
• Experience with Ariba Network and cXML protocols
• SAP S4 Hana or ECC experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

Preferred Background

• Procurement or supply chain industry experience
• Familiarity with procurement software and related tools
• Project management experience

• Team Size: 8
• Team Role: Global Procurement Operations – responsible for procurement systems and processes
• Work Atmosphere: High-pressure and fast-paced due to deployment deadlines; collaborative and supportive team, with occasional long hours
• Travel Requirements: Possibly – to be confirmed based on deployment needs
