EDGE Developer

Tasks:

• API Development and Integration: Design, configure/develop, and maintain EDGE APIs integrating Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter) with client custom portal.
• Technical Expertise: Work with Guidewire's EDGE framework to create scalable and efficient solutions, ensure adherence to best practices in API development and Guidewire standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and functionality of APIs.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Debug and resolve issues related to API performance, integration, and functionality. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing APIs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, including specifications, workflows, and integration guides.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize API performance to ensure fast and reliable communication between systems. Monitor and improve the efficiency of API calls and data exchanges.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform, min. 3 years
• Expertise in Guidewire EDGE API development (Gosu language), min. 3 years
