DevOps / Data Engineer

Work 1-2 days a week from the client's office in Wroclaw.

Responsibilities: 

•   Working as a DevOps / Data Engineer 

•   Working in the area of LDA (Logged Data Analysis in the Hadoop Team)

•   Handling large volumes of data 

•   Working with support activities in the team

•   Working with Agile/Kanban methodology

•   Occasional weekend work

Requirements:

Competencies:

•   Some background on DE is good but not necessary

•   DevSecOps

•   Monitoring

•   Administration of Linux clusters

•   Knowledge/ experience with Hadoop/Distributed computing (nice to have)

•   Willing to work on-prem but also open to work on Azure cloud

•   Able define test requirements & code for self-created code

Tools:

Mandatory:

•   Proficient in bash scripting

•   Python scripting

•   Docker administration

Considered beneficial:

•   GIT

•   SQL (hive, MySQL, Postgres)

•   PySpark

Nice to have experience with:

•   Airflow

•   Jenkins

•   Azure DevOps

•   Security scanning tools (DAST, SAST,...)
