Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our incubation group, reporting directly to the Product Engineering Lead. This hands-on technical role involves engineering and integrating cloud-based solutions, automation, and infrastructure services in support of our clients. The ideal candidate will collaborate with global teams, provide Level 3 and Level 4 support, and contribute to continuous improvement of our cloud offerings.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scrum team activities within the incubation group

• Engineer and automate solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and Network-as-a-Service environments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to design and implement new technologies

• Provide 3rd and 4th level support for developed solutions ensuring business continuity

• Own assigned issues, enhancements, and features through to resolution

• Produce clear and concise technical documentation and presentations for diverse audiences

• Provide training and support to peer teams on new functionalities

• Use approved tools and KPIs to optimize IT costs and technology reuse

• Apply sound judgment in engineering practices, security, and code maintainability

• Proactively identify and solve problems before they impact business operations

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

• 5-12 years experience in cloud engineering with Microsoft-centric solutions, primarily Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python; Linux shell scripting preferred

• Solid experience with microservices, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and Helm charts

• Expertise in Azure Data Engineering tools such as ADF and ADB

• In-depth knowledge of web services, APIs, REST, and loosely coupled architectures

• Strong networking skills including load balancers, firewalls, NACLs, security groups, routing, DNS

• Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation and communicate complex topics clearly

• Operational support awareness with focus on root cause analysis and creative problem solving

• Experience with source code management tools such as Git, TFS, or SVN

• DevOps expertise including Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible, Terraform, ARM Templates, and build/release tools like Azure DevOps

• Familiarity with Azure GenAI offerings is a plus

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently in a global virtual team

• Industry cloud certifications required
