Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This role focuses predominantly on developing data pipelines (80%-90% of responsibilities) while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Whether you are a Medior or Senior Data Engineer, your technical expertise in GCP, pySpark, and Spark cluster management will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines.
• Manage and optimize Spark clusters to ensure efficient data processing.
• Work with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to build scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products.
• (For Senior Role) Participate in internal technical platform reviews and assessments.
• (For Senior Role) Provide expertise and guidance in Data Platform best practices and code quality assurance.

Technical Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

pySpark expertise.

Experience managing and optimizing Spark clusters.

Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (other cloud platforms are not applicable).

Proven ability to implement data pipelines, with flexibility in the specific technology used.

Additional Requirements for Senior Role:

Broader experience and knowledge of Data Platforms.

Demonstrated experience working with various stakeholders and team members.

Proven experience in ensuring code quality assurance.

Soft Skills:

• Medium to strong communication skills with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and collaborate effectively.
• Nice to Have:
• Financial/Risk knowledge is not required, but a willingness to learn and adapt to business contexts is appreciated.
