Data Engineer

Start Date: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible

Contract Type: B2B (140 - 170 PLN/h + VAT)

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Enablement Factory team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end data ingestion activities from multiple source systems into our Group Data Platform. You will work closely with product teams, technical experts, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient data integration. This position requires strong technical expertise in Azure-based solutions and the ability to manage ingestion processes in compliance with governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

• Ensure data classification, lineage tracking, and compliance with governance standards.

• Monitor ingestion jobs, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain operational stability.

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.

• Continuously improve ingestion frameworks and automation processes for scalability and efficiency.

  
  

Expectations

• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines and metadata-driven ingestion frameworks.

• Proven experience in data engineering and ingestion processes on Azure platforms.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics.

• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with PostgreSQL for data transformation and storage.

• Understanding of data governance, GDPR compliance, and automated monitoring tools.
