Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Snowflake/dbt Developer to join our team in delivering data solutions for clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Snowflake and dbt, strong SQL skills, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into effective data transformations.As a key member of our integrated data project team, you will collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality data pipelines, adherence to CI/CD principles, and robust documentation. Your analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities will be essential in supporting data-driven decision-making in the clinical operations domain.

Key Responsibilities:Data Engineering & Development:

• Translate stakeholder requirements into efficient, functional code

• Collaborate with developers on integrated data projects focused on clinical operations

• Develop and maintain high-quality SQL scripts and dbt transformations in Snowflake

• Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices in development

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing data pipelines and queries

• Ensure CI/CD compliance and collaborate with DevOps on automated build processes

• Use Git, Bitbucket, and Jira for version control and project tracking

  
  

Data Modeling:

• Analyze business needs to define data integration and consumption requirements

• Provide technical guidance in implementing accurate data models for clinical operations

• Partner with engineers and developers to design efficient data pipelines

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and workflows

  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and optimization

• Proficiency in dbt (data build tool) for data transformation

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake

• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and Jira

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Experience in data modeling and best practices

• Background in clinical operations or the healthcare industry is a plus
