About the Role:
We're seeking a Data Engineer with experience/knowledge in AI projects to help us integrate AI solutions into our applications. You will support internal users and processes by resolving maintenance and data quality issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of our organization's systems. You will contribute directly to high-priority initiatives for our HVIA BUCs, including Early Defect Detection, AA-driven root cause analysis, and a Quality copilot.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Expertise in the Azure cloud service platform.
- Proven experience with large databases and data warehouses.
- Expertise in Databricks: Delta Tables, DLT, Unity Catalog, performance tuning, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, Azure OpenAI Service.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Knowledge of modern Data Modeling and Design concepts.
- Ability to design simplified E2E Azure solution architecture.
- Agile mindset – flexibility to execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms in Azure.
- Ability to use Version Control (Git) with Azure DevOps.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience or theoretical knowledge of:
- Generative AI Fundamentals/Basics: Understanding of how AI models are trained to generate data (e.g., text, images) and their practical applications in cloud environments. Familiarity with the RAG pattern and experience in prompt engineering.
- MLOps: Familiarity with machine learning operations practices, including model versioning, CI/CD pipelines tailored for AI solutions.
- Experience in the automotive industry (Warranty).

- Open to visiting the office in Wrocław at least once every 10 weeks.
Location: Wrocław (Hybrid - 1 day a week in office).
