Data Engineer - Databricks & PySpark

Work model: Hybrid from Wrocław (frequency of office presence to be discussed)

About the Project

Join a dynamic team supporting internal users and business processes. The team collaborates with dealers to monitor sales, support invoicing processes, and track CO₂ emissions from combustion vehicles, as well as the development of electric trucks. The team is based in Lyon, France.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data-driven applications using Databricks and PySpark
• Troubleshoot data quality and system maintenance issues
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects, QA, and DPO
• Support internal users and ensure smooth operation of business processes
• Work in a cloud-based environment (Azure)

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark
• Proficiency in cloud platforms – preferably Azure
• Solid knowledge of databases such as SQL Server or Netezza
• Experience with at least 3 of the following technologies:
• Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Power BI, Spark, Python, MongoDB, Azure Functions
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
