Data Architect (AWS)

Tasks:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable data architectures for collection, storage, processing, and analysis.
• Mentor the data engineering team while building and optimizing ETL pipelines with Airflow, Snowflake, and DBT.
• Define data partitioning, retention, governance, and security strategies.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and document data architecture.
• Ensure effective collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Drive innovation in data practices and system architecture.
• Manage project timelines and track progress.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in data engineering, including 2+ as a data architect.
• Strong experience with AWS, data modeling, and large-scale Data Warehouses.
• Proficiency in Airflow, Snowflake, DBT, Apache Spark, and SQL.
• Experience with third-party APIs, external data sources, and data governance.
• Ability to optimize system performance and workflows.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and agile development experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with adtech (DSPs, ad servers, etc.).
• Experience managing large, complex data sets.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and version control.
• Experience leading development teams.
• Education & Language
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Advanced English skills for global collaboration.
