Apigee Developer

Location: 100% remote work

Salary: 140 – 165 PLN net/h

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop APIs using Google Apigee X and Edge.

• Implement API proxies and policies for security, traffic management, and transformation.

• Configure and manage OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and other security mechanisms.

• Integrate APIs with backend systems (REST, SOAP, microservices).

• Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for scalability.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines for API deployment and versioning.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to define API requirements.

• Ensure compliance with API governance and best practices.

• Provide technical documentation and support for API consumers.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in API development and integration.

• Master of Science in Computer Science (preferably with a specialization in Data Analytics).

• Professional certification in Apigee or related API technologies, plus any GCP certification.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

• Knowledge of API lifecycle management and governance.
