Job description
As the WMS Software engineer you will be responsible for:
- implementing and deploying setups and configurations of new sites/new customers
- analyzing the process dependencies, defining and building the related application configuration
- identifying and specifying required changes on application
- developing test plans, scenario’s and securing successful execution
- validating, testing, and accepting version/releases of software
- cooperating with (project) team members and key-users
- documenting the project and application landscape and configuration
- reporting development using Jasper reports
- identifying and specifying issues
- identifying and taking into account core business requirements
- supporting, delivering and maintaining according to standards set forward
- cooperating with 1st and 2nd line support, and delivering 3rd line support
Requirements:
- minimum 2 years working experience in a similar role
- knowledge of warehouse logistics.strong understanding of RedPrairie or any other WMS
- excellent knowledge of Jasper reports
- knowledge and experience of DBMS solutions (preferable Oracle)vast experience in software development including testing, deployment, and documentation
- analytical skills and techniques to evaluate, interpret, and resolve complex situations/problems
- self-starter
- strong work ethic
- preferable project management skills (PRINCE2)very good communication skills
- business fluent spoken and written English
