Software Engineer - Frontend

Essential requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of React and TypeScript

• Experience with modern frontend development practices

• Expertise in building responsive and accessible user interfaces

• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Experience with using REST APIs

• Understanding of microservice architecture principles

• Very good command of English

• Formal requirements:

  • minimum 3 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role

  • master's or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • the candidate already lives in Poland and can be formally employed here (UoP)

Nice to haves: 

• Knowledge of document-based databases, such as CouchDB

• Knowledge of state management patterns in React

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)

• Basic knowledge of CoffeeScript

• Experience with containerized applications

• Experience working with medical or scientific applications

• Familiarity with JWT- and session-based authentication

• Good command of Polish

  
  

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user interfaces for the GRADEpro system

• Build reusable components and libraries to ensure consistency

• Work with microservices architecture and containerized applications

• Optimize application performance and loading times

• Collaborate with backend team on API design and data requirements

• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

• Implement robust security best practices to meet compliance requirements, with a focus on standards necessary for obtaining and sustaining key certifications like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP, as well as adherence to data protection regulations such as GDPR.
