AI Specialist

Essential requirements:

• Experience designing multi-step reasoning pipelines and optimizing Large and Small Language Models (LLMs/SLMs).

• Expertise in designing autonomous agentic workflows rather than simple prompt engineering.

• Solid understanding of LLM/VLMs fundamentals (e.g., Transformer architecture, MoE, CoT etc.)

• Advanced knowledge of Python and scientific computing libraries

• Very good command of English

• Formal requirements:

  • minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML roles

  • master's degree in AI, Computer Science, or related field

  • the candidate already lives in Poland and can be formally employed here (UoP)

    
    

Nice to haves: 

• Experience with multimodal models (text + image)

• Knowledge of efficient fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, QLoRA, etc.)

• Experience with medical or scientific text processing

• Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning

• Good understanding of engineering best practices for building AI systems

• Experience with distributed training on multiple GPUs

• Good command of Polish

Your responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimize prompts

2. Fine-tune and adapt third-party models from HuggingFace and other sources

3. Implement multimodal capabilities for processing text and images

4. Create efficient training pipelines for model fine-tuning

5. Optimize model performance through various techniques (quantization, pruning)

6. Research and implement state-of-the-art NLP architectures

7. Develop evaluation frameworks for comparing model performances

8. Collaborate on creating domain-specific training datasets

9. Document technical implementations and research findings
