Division: GDC (Group Digital Capabilities)
Goals & Responsibilities
- Accountable for the Agile testing strategy, including both functional and non-functional testing.
- Ensures quality gates are met at each release.
- Collaborates with Tribe Test Engineers to manage dependencies.
- Coordinates integration testing across Squads.
- Defines environment needs for testing.
- Supports and guides Squads in their testing activities.
- Develops and maintains the test automation roadmap and plans accordingly.
- Maintains test data governance.
- Actively contributes to problem-solving activities with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset.
Activities
- Continuously validates Features delivered in line with the Agile test strategy.
- Refines Features and their Acceptance Criteria, defining Feature-level test plans as needed.
- Contributes to the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done for Features.
- Attends Scrum of Scrums to identify and manage dependencies within and outside the Tribe.
- Extends test coverage for the product/service continuously.
- Reviews testing results at the Squad level.
- Ensures quality gates at Story and Feature levels to maintain defect thresholds.
- Reports quality status and risks of Features to Tribe leadership.
- Maintains test data governance.
- Defines a consistent automated testing strategy by:
- Drafting a test automation roadmap and plan.
- Supporting Squads in creating and managing tests independently, applying a shift-left mindset.
- Developing and maintaining the continuous delivery pipeline and toolchain.
- Testing the solution's performance against non-functional requirements, including security testing.
- Assisting the Tribe Release Engineer in identifying system issues and bottlenecks.
Competencies
- Proficient in English (working language).
- Mastery of Agile methodology.
- Expertise in Agile software development.
- Test Mastery with over 5 years of experience in test strategy and management.
- Strong communication skills.
- End-user experience understanding.
- Excellent organizational skills.
