Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality and precision. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in C# and ideally VB.NET to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for both desktop and web applications. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our solutions across diverse markets.In this role, as part of a collaborative international team you will contribute to shaping innovative testing strategies, standardizing development practices, and driving product evolution.Your Role: 

• Collaborate with teams across Sweden, France, Belgium, and Poland.

• Test, break, assess and confirm complex technical solutions with efficient test routines.

• Standardize development and propose product evolutions.

• Participate in ideation workshops.

• Write and estimate technical requirements (User Stories).

Technical Skills:

• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

• Document test cases, procedures, and results.

• Investigate and troubleshoot test failures and software defects.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in test automation using C# and VB.NET.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software testing principles.

• Experience with tools such as Selenium, NUnit, MSTest, SpecFlow, Cucmber, or similar.

• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).

• Work with Xml, Json, SpecFlow documents to perform test automation.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

• Knowledge of desktop application testing and web application testing.

• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and reusable test code.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with legacy systems and modernizing test frameworks.

• Familiarity with SQL (RDBMS & NoSQL) and database validation.

• Familiarity with and ability to perform manual regression, as well as work to migration manual tests to automated tests.

Exposure to performance testing and security testing tools.
