Your role
As an Experienced Test Analyst within the GBS testing team you will:
- analyze test requirements and craft the corresponding test products (e.g., environment set-up, test scenarios, test scripts, test tools, …) in the Cash & Banking domain.
- understand the Test Strategy and the Test Approach proposed, challenge the approach where required, propose an alternate approach if required.
- have a good understanding of the functional and/or technical domain you are testing in.
- design test cases from project’s documentation (business requirements, functional and technical design).
- perform peer review (including outsourcing) to ensure completeness, suitability, and accuracy of testing deliverables.
- implement test cases/analyze test execution results.
- work closely with Squad members (Business Analysts, Designers, Developers, GTS (Infrastructure teams) to help resolve issues found during testing.
- report progress on testing accurately.
- participate to pre-prod and production activities (launch and post launch).
- provide support to UAT (User Acceptance Tests).
- contribute to continuous improvement of testing best practices.
You have
- a master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Civil Engineering or similar.
- a professional experience in software development & maintenance.
- a familiarity with large multi-platform-based IT environments, such as Tandem and distributed systems and with testing tools.
- an experience in the financial industry is a must, knowledge in Cash messaging and the terms/terminology used is an asset.
- a first experience in integration testing activities on such multi-platform & sophisticated environments is an asset.
