Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)
By joining the Group Digital and Capabilities Division, you will be joining an international and geographically spread team that, through strong collaboration, articulates the business strategy and engages the company to deliver and grow profitable products & services. You will contribute to growing our relevance in post trade by realizing the regulatory agenda in strengthening the financial industry, leveraging our franchise to expand globally and re-architecting the post trade landscape.
Within the GDC Division, the Analytics, Insights and Reporting Tribe supports the needs for advanced analytics and reporting from all the entities of the Euroclear Group. The team helps to transform data into insights using techniques such as descriptive analysis, text mining, machine learning, process mining, network analytics, predictive modelling, ...
To this aim, the team is running:
The Data & Analytics Platform (DAP) - Hadoop-based, used as group-wide DataLake, and able to perform advanced analytics treatment (a.o. Machine Learning & AI)
The group DataWarehouse (SQL server), used as a source for reporting tools such as Cognos & Power BI.
The Cloud Data Platform (MS Azure), serving both Data & Analytics purposes.
The migration of data and processes from the DAP and the DWH towards MS Azure has started, and most new projects will be leveraging the cloud.
Your role will be to lead the Delivery of one stream-aligned squad (out of 3-4 in the tribe, to be setup as from July 2025).
General Job description:
By joining the Analytics, Insights and Reporting Tribe, you will be in charge of:
Leading the new squad towards being a professional and seamless value delivering entity.
Managing a team of IT professionals over several locations, and managing relationship with some outsourcing partners
Organising the delivery capacity and growing the velocity/quality of deliveries.
Co-driving (along with tribe leadership) the connection with customer-facing stakeholders and ensuring adequacy of delivered solutions to the business needs.
You will also have the following responsibilities:
- Defining, leading, and executing the strategic direction while reaching objectives and key results
- Steer the transformation and improvement of the team ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Identifying talent needs, collaborating with HR and recruitment partners, screening and interviewing candidates, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, and continuously improving recruitment strategies to attract the right talent for driving team transformation and improvement.
- Through influence as well as assertiveness, contribute to maturing the tribe service offering.
- Be the ambassador of newly created capabilities.
- Make sure relevant knowledge is created within the new organization
- Develop capabilities for quick fix of production issues ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining the stability and reliability of production environments.

- Defining and implementing services, practices, processes, and tools
- Promoting and championing agile cooperation to enhance customer experience

Profile:
- This is a management role. The candidate for this position must have a solid working experience in IT delivery leadership positions, in assessing and driving value creation, in managing relationship with cross-location partners.
- A strong experience in setting the strategic vision, direction, and standards for championing a best-in-class customer service is a real asset.
- Leadership/People Skills:
- The squad lead must also possess strong leadership skills, being able to provide direction. Strategic agility, Self-reflection and Inspiring/Engaging are important skills needed to be a strong leader at Euroclear. Building a high performing team, ensuring it is focused, motivated, and inspired to achieve the objectives will be key.
- Interpersonal Skills: A candidate for this position will be a strategic and creative thinker, be result-driven with proven track of records, be self-motivated and proactive, be open and welcoming to change, and work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment.
- He/She must also work comfortably in group/collaborative setting or with business executives and stakeholders, have an ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines, and have an ability to remain calm under pressure and in the face of uncertainty.
