Senior Test Analyst - GDC DES Digital Solution Capabilities

The Digital Engagement Solutions (DES) Tribe within the Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) Division fosters the delivery of digital engagement solutions by integrating sustainable and resilient technologies, expertise, and processes. It also enables activity monitoring, reporting, and transaction execution.

The Digital Solution Capabilities squad supports other squads within the tribe, contributing across domains such as Settlement, Custody, and Reporting.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Test Analyst with deep expertise in functional/manual and non-functional/automation testing. The role involves collaborating with squad members to define testing requirements, analyze results, and recommend optimizations. You will also manage the test environment, coordinate test activities, and contribute to test automation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute manual and automated test strategies at the epic and feature levels.

• Act as test coordinator, managing test activities, planning, and budget support.

• Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to assess automation feasibility.

• Design, execute, and maintain functional and non-functional test cases and scenarios.

• Conduct regression, integration, and system testing for web apps, APIs, and backend systems.

• Create detailed test documentation and reports.

• Manage test environments and incident handling.

• Support deployment preparation and execution for Pre-Production and Production.

• Mentor team members and contribute to the Quality Community of Practice.

• Continuously apply best practices and tools to improve testing efficiency.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and report on test status.

Requirements & Experience

• 8+ years in testing roles with strong manual and automation experience (Selenium, J-Meter, MS Azure - TFS, Jira-XRay, ReadyAPI).

• 2+ years as Test Coordinator or Test Lead.

• Solid understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with SQL and data analysis.

• Knowledge of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, REST, SOAP, TCP/IP).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Self-driven and proactive in learning new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB or equivalent certification.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

• Experience with version control systems.
