Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Division: GBS - Group Business Solutions

Join our Agile team spread across London, Paris, Brussels, and Poland. You will integrate into an IT division, and you will be at the heart of the evolution of our on-premises migration of our application landscape to the Azure Cloud. In your activity, you will have to collaborate with different teams to deliver solutions to our customers, based on existing applications and group assets in a Cloud environment. If you do not meet all the requirements, your application may be considered depending on your level of experience.

Your mission includes:

• Designing and developing technical solutions.
• Developing complex features.
• Standardizing development processes.
• Providing technical coaching to the development team.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards (code, test coverage, etc.).
• Identifying and addressing technical topics within the team.
• Participating in ideation workshops and suggesting product improvements.
• Writing and estimating technical requirements (User Stories).

Your Profile

You are a passionate software developer with experience as a technical leader. Your qualifications include:

• Extensive experience as a full-stack developer using .NET (Framework + Core).
• Proven commercial experience in developing applications for Azure.
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Methodical, rigorous, autonomous, and proactive.
• Driven by performance and IT security concerns.
• Strong DevOps experience.
• Significant experience in an Agile environment.
• Enjoy working in a team and open to integrating into a multicultural environment.
• Ability to coach less experienced developers.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of banking environments is a plus.

Back-end:

• .NET Core 6+8, C#
• Java 8 and above, Spring Boot
• Messaging technologies (IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ, or similar)
• Entity Framework
• Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, Entra ID, AKS)
• RESTful API experience
• Microservice design (Azure Function, Azure Web App)
• Azure SQL Server, package integration, toolchain setup, and stub design & development
• Knowledge of Splunk, WCF, Azure Data Factory, Kafka, Java, OAuth is a plus

About the Team

The Group Business Solutions (GBS) division ensures the competitiveness of Euroclear by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our technical teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that doesn't compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
