Role Overview:
The Platform technology lead will be a key member of our Innovation Enablement squad. This individual will be responsible to lead the technical strategy for our DSH platform and maintaining the architectural framework of our data platform. While the Enablement squad does not engage in direct software development activities, the Platform technology lead will work closely with our engineering squad to ensure the platform's architecture meets strategic goals and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design:
- Develop and maintain the architectural framework and standards for the data platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Create and maintain capabilities map to visually represent the platform's current and future capabilities.
- Technical Guidance:
- Provide architectural guidance and support to the engineering squad during the implementation of the platform.
- Ensure alignment between the platform's capabilities and the organization's strategic objectives.
- Non-Functional Requirements:
- Own and define the non-functional requirements (NFRs) for the platform, ensuring they are met throughout the development and maintenance phases.
- Use Case Mapping:
- Map new use cases to the technology vision and evolution of the platform, ensuring that the platform continues to meet the needs of the market and stakeholders.
- Interact with senior product stakeholders to understand, anticipate and incorporate their requirements into the platform's vision and architecture.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with other teams, including product management, enterprise architects, orchestration and engineering, to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Use the capabilities map as a communication tool to explain complex relationships and dependencies within the platform.
- Innovation:
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the platform architecture.
- Use the capabilities map to identify and incorporate new technologies and trends.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure the platform architecture complies with regulatory, compliance requirements and security standards.
- Follow up on new market regulations with the support of the legal team to ensure the platform remains compliant across regions of operations
- Platform Certification Program:
- Drive the creation and implementation of a platform certification program (the rule book) for third parties to connect with our platform, ensuring all integrations meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Conduct technical reviews and audits of DSH submissions to identify and resolve potential issues related to data enabled services.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including the capabilities map, to support the platform's development and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a system architect or similar role, with a focus on marketplace technologies and data enabled services.
- Strong knowledge of marketplace ecosystems and their technical requirements, particularly for financial applications.
- Experience with data analytics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in the context of financial data.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and financial security standards is a must.
