You will conduct Integration Testing of business requirements, functional, non-functional, and technical aspects on various Features and Epics. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing our testing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Epic & Feature refinements to ensure testability of requirements.
- Define or optimize test strategies using a risk-based approach.
- Prepare testing budgets (high level and detailed estimates).
- Develop test planning and produce test environment requirements.
- Coordinate test environment set-up and review test requirements and cases.
- Follow agile methodology for test preparation.
- Coordinate testing activities, including day-to-day resource management.
- Support test environments during execution, collaborating with Test Environment Expert.
- Manage defects, ensuring accurate assignment and priority setting.
- Produce test progress reports based on planning.
- Report testing status to Epic Delivery Owner (EDO) and other partners.
- Address impediments with Squads, Scrum master, EDO, and stakeholders.
- Write Test Summary Reports and discuss results with partners.
- Support major and minor releases as Tribe Release Engineer.
- Mentor and support less experienced testers and test leads.
- Lead and participate in Retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Be an active member of the testing community.
Profile
- Experience with IT Testing and familiarity with IBM Mainframe (PL/1, SQL DB2, MQ, CICS, JCL, VSAM, XML).
- Knowledge of large multi-platform IT environments.
- Strong analytical mindset to extract and analyze relevant information.
- Experience in Agile and risk-based approaches.
- Proficiency with tools like TFS, ServiceNow, or similar.
- Ability to work on multiple Epics and Features simultaneously.
- Knowledge of non-functional testing and automation.
- Personal skills: organizational, relational, adaptability, teamwork, autonomy, dynamism, availability, negotiation, compliance with procedures.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of settlement or collateral management domain is a plus
