    Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)


    This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the modernization of our IT Communication platform, playing a key role in enhancing and implementing solutions that apply the latest technologies and highest standards. The successful candidate will have a strong affinity for IT and a keen interest in financial markets.


    Our Tribe: Straight-Through Processing (STP) Tribe automates financial transactions, enhancing speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Joining the STP Tribe means being part of a team dedicated to using cutting-edge technologies and setting new standards in service enhancements.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage epics/projects with teams across locations, divisions, entities, and third-party suppliers.
    • Identify risks and define mitigation actions to meet project goals.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, costs, and dependencies.
    • Handle change control processes and negotiate project scope changes.
    • Regularly report progress to senior management, partners, and sponsors.
    • Ensure adherence to Euroclear’s standards and methodologies.
    • Lead improvement initiatives and act as the primary liaison between project sponsors/clients and IT services.

    Skills and Competencies:


    Must Have:

    • Proven experience in managing IT projects, preferably with multi-squad/location projects and outsourcing partners.
    • Experience managing project budgets.
    • Comfortable discussing technical concepts and details with IT teams, ensuring clear and effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels; ability to summarize and present complex information in simple terms.
    • Ability to quickly grasp impacts and dependencies, perform risk assessments, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Effective negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills; assertiveness and ability to lead challenging internal and external collaborators.
    • Able to operate with limited support from management, organized and focused, able to remain positive in the face of challenges or under pressure.

    Nice to Have:

    • Prior experience in the financial sector.
    • Proven experience in leading multi-squad/location projects, including outsourcing partners.
    • IT delivery framework certifications.

    The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division contributes to Euroclear’s competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that does not compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
