About:

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with a strong background in the financial data domain to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual testing and developing automated test scripts to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and performance of our financial market data product.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Detect, document, standardize, and monitor issues and defects
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for repetitive scenarios, identifying corner cases
• Analyze system requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on those specifications
• Execute and monitor both manual and automated test cases, documenting results and tracking defects in test management tools
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve them
• Review and maintain technical documentation to ensure alignment with product functionality

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manual QA testing, preferably focused on financial data analytics applications
• Strong knowledge of Playwright, Cypress, or similar JS testing framework
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and defect tracking systems
• Strong knowledge of core testing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of testing for data application, ability to write tests against data (Python, SQL, C#)

Preffered Skills:

• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
• Familiarity with SQL, MongoDB and the ability to query databases to validate data
